The phones feature premium hardware and large screens ranging from 5.8” on the XS model to the 6.5” on the XS Max model. Their powerful hardware and features allow them to perform most functions of modern laptops and computers. Users can watch movies, play games and accomplish other tasks.

These iPhones can also be connected to a projector to enhance the gaming experience and provide a cinema-like immersion. In this post, I'll show you ways to mirror your iPhone XS, XS Max or XR's screen to JMGO N7L which is a 1080p 700ANSI lumen portable DLP projector running Android OS.

Connectivity options on the projector include an HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio port, two USB ports, and an Ethernet port. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also supported. It features vertical and horizontal keystone correction of up to ±45º and autofocus. The inbuilt speaker also allows it to be used as a standalone Bluetooth audio device. It has a sleek and stylish design and is lightweight making it easy to carry. Its varied feature-set and reasonable pricing make it one of the best smart projectors available in the market today.

If you have already ordered your latest iPhone and want to mirror it on your JMGO N7L projector, then here are a few ways you can accomplish the same.

Wireless Screen Mirroring Using AirPlay and HappyCast

AirPlay is Apple Inc.’s proprietary protocol that allows users to connect different Apple devices with each other via a Wi-Fi network. It also enables users to mirror their iPhones’ screen to an iOS-based display device like the Apple TV.

The JMGO N7L projector’s operating system is based on Android platform but also supports AirPlay and Miracast protocols via the pre-installed HappyCast application. It lets you mirror the screen of your iPhone XS, X Max or XR using Wi-Fi.

All you have to do is connect the iPhone and the N7L projector to the same Wi-Fi network. Then launch the HappyCast application on the N7L projector. You might be asked to enter a name for the projector and choose your desired resolution after the application launches. Type a name and choose the desired resolution for the device. There will also be an option that allows you to set “Mirroring” to “On” or “Off”. As we want to mirror the screen, let us turn it to “On”.

Then tap the AirPlay Mirroring icon on your latest iPhone and select the N7L device from the available list and you are good to go. The procedure is fairly simple and similar to connecting your iPhone to an Apple TV or other devices that support iOS screen mirroring with AirPlay.

Using an HDMI Adapter

If you want to mirror your iPhone screen to your N7L projector without using a Wi-Fi network, then you can also use an HDMI adaptor. All the latest iPhone models including XS, XS Max, and XR feature Apple’s hallmark Lightning connector. The Lightning connector can be used to connect the phone to display devices via an adapter. The JMGO N7L projector comes with an HDMI input port for connecting different devices. You can use a Lightning Digital AV Adapter to connect the iPhone with the JMGO N7L smart projector. The adapter plugs into the Lightning connector of the phone and has an HDMI port. Just plug in the HDMI cable of the projector to the adapter, and you are good to go.

Chromecast

Chromecast devices provide another option for connecting iPhone XS, XS Max and XR to the JMGO N7L smart projector. Chromecast devices enable you to access content from different streaming services through the Internet. They also support screen mirroring for Android and iOS devices including the latest models of iPhones. A Chromecast device has a small form-factor and will easily fit in your hand. It has an HDMI cable that plugs into the HDMI input port of the projector.

To connect your iPhone to the Chromecast device, you will need to install the Chromecast application on the phone. The rest of the process is similar to the HappyCast application. Open the Chromecast application and select the Cast screen option from the menu. It will list the available Chromecast devices, and you may select the one connected to the N7L projector to mirror the screen.

If you use a Chromecast device with your JMGO N7L projector, then it is a great way to mirror the screen of your new iPhone to the projector. Otherwise, the projector supports wireless and wired screen mirroring for iPhone XS, XS Max and XR and there is no need to buy a Chromecast device specifically for screen mirroring.

Now that you know multiple ways to connect your iPhone XS, XS Max and XR to the JMGO N7L projector, it is time to get the maximum performance out of them.
